First, we want you and your kids to be comfortable. If that means everyone stays together in worship, wonderful…and we kind of like a little kid noise in this church.
If you want to leave your little ones in the nursery (located down the hall to the left of the sanctuary) we’ll have you check them in. We’ll also ask you to keep your cell phone on in worship and leave the number with us if we need to call/text you (which rarely happens).
Children ages 2–3 and 4–5 can be checked in at the classrooms located down the hall to the right of the sanctuary.
If your child(ren) are older (1st–6th grade) you can check them in/out in the Student Ministries building by the gym double doors.
If you are uncertain about leaving your kids, feel free to stay with them until both you and they feel good about changing that situation. All children remain in their classrooms or gym until parents come to retrieve them.
Please note: If this is a baptism or communion Sunday, you’ll see your kids in the Sanctuary celebrating the sacraments.

How to Serve?
Some of you are gifted in working with kids and shepherding them along their faith journey. We are excited that you want to be part of our team. Most of our volunteers at Grace UMC work each week with kids, but some of our leaders work twice a month and a few once a month.
If you are interested in helping in any way or just have questions, contact Stephanie Smith at email@example.com or call her at 816-830-7914.
