Grace UMC offers members and church friends the option of “E-GIVING.” This is the automatic withdrawal of one’s offering from his or her personal bank account, which is then deposited into the church account. This can be set up to occur once or twice a month.
How Does E-Giving Work?
By signing an authorization form that details the amount you would like to give (with the option of having the entire amount deducted once a month, or half of the amount deducted twice a month), and from which account you would like it to be taken from, Grace UMC can set this up for you. What if I need to change the amount? To make a change to your E-Giving commitment—either to increase, decrease, or discontinue withdrawal—contact the church office at 816-246-5764 by the TUESDAY before the next payment and your request can be honored.
Why is E-Giving a good idea?
As Christians, we are asked to give a portion of what God has given us so that His work can be done in the church, community and beyond. We are also asked to give generously and regularly. By providing E-Giving as an offering alternative, Grace UMC seeks to help you meet your commitment — even when you are unable to attend church due to vacation, sickness or weather. It helps too, when you forget your checkbook at home.
Other giving options
Grace UMC is now able to accept gifts of stock or other marketable securities for those seeking another giving alternative. Contact the church office for more information on this option.
